Buffalo State University President-elect Dr. Chance Glenn spoke with WGRZ-TV 2 anchor Claudine Ewing, ’92, during the station’s 5:30 p.m. newscast Thursday.
“The bigger picture is creativity, innovation, and going beyond the boundaries and the boxes that society has put us in,” Glenn said. “That’s the broader message, and saying, ‘Yes, you can do that, too.’
“The message is that whoever you are out there—talking to our students, but also talking to our staff and faculty and the people in the community—no matter who you are, where you start, there’s a place for you and there is a purpose for you that you can find out, realize, and act upon. Education is the vehicle by which you can do that.”
Glenn also answered questions about his top priorities for Buffalo State University, his inventions, and his Grammy nomination.
