Buffalo State provides pre-health and pre-law advisement to assist students who plan to attend medical or law school upon earning a Buffalo State bachelor’s degree. Faculty members knowledgeable in these professions are available for consultation on recommended undergraduate courses and activities, as well as medical and law school entry tests and admissions practices.
PRE-HEALTH and PRE-LAW
Pre-health advisement is a supplemental support system to facilitate your admission to health programs by identifying required coursework, suggesting appropriate extra-curricular opportunities for your chosen field and providing other enrichment activities. We are here to help you navigate admissions processes with mock interviews and letters of recommendation.
Students are admitted to law school from almost every academic discipline. Traditional preparatory majors include history, English, philosophy, political science, economics, or business; however, areas as diverse as art, music, science and mathematics, computer science, engineering, nursing, and education are also welcomed.
